Magazine Basic

Magazine Basic was a first free theme for WordPress. To date, over 430,000 people have downloaded it from WordPress.org and the response has been unbelievable. Finishing touches on version 3.0.2 were applied by the creator to take advantage of all the amazing new features in WordPress and to now make Magazine Basic fully responsive for all devices. The theme was rebuilt from the ground up using HTML5 and the Gridiculous responsive boilerplate.

Submit RSS Feeds – Top 15 Ranked RSS Feed Directories

Website performance testing sites

 I was asked about a website’s ‘performance’  this is a list of sites that I’m starting to use to measure performance.    Do share any sites that aren’t on this list, to make it better.
https://security.google.com/settings/security  to reset Google Apps  Recovery options for admin user, accounts with over 3 admins don’t have this option.

Open Street Map

The Free Wiki World Map for mapping to one location without ‘extra’ stuff from Google in the map.  OpenStreetMap is a free worldwide map, created by people like you. The data is free to download and use under its open license. Create a user account to improve the map.

WordPress 3.6 “Oscar”

The latest and greatest WordPress, version 3.6, is now live to the world  (as of August 1) and includes a beautiful new blog-centric theme, bullet-proof autosave and post locking, a revamped revision browser, native support for audio and video embeds, and improved integrations with Spotify, Rdio, and SoundCloud.
