Google announced plans to make parts of the web “cookie-less.” A cookie less future from Google plan is to have Chromium browsers not accept cookies from third-party websites by default. This move would decrease performance tracking for marketers and create new opportunities for first-party data collection. However, it’s unclear when this will happen or how extensive these changes will be. For now, we’ll have to wait and see how this plays out.
