So this AM I did the most recent update for Windows 11, when it had finished by keyboard and mouse didn’t work, both plugged into the USB hub I have been using.
The fix for me:
Power management settings:
Windows 11 has power management settings that can affect USB device connectivity. Ensure the power management settings do not turn off the USB ports to save power.
In the Windows Control panel, click on Power Options, then under Balanced click on Change Plan settings, at the bottom of that window click on Change advanced power settings, that should open a small window with the tab for Advanced Power settings, scroll down to USB settings, click the plus button, and then you’ll see USB selective suspend setting, click that and select disable from the options. Apply button will save that and now you should be able to use the USB hub for the mouse and keyboard again.
